Exactly one week after receiving a cablegram begging for books, clothing, and food for European college students. Phillips Brooks House announced yesterday a University wide collection drive slated to begin the week of January 12.
PBH and the Student Council Belief Committee have jointly organized the campaign in order to collect books, magazines, student supplies, and all kinds of clothing in response to the recent plan of Richard D. Campbell, Jr. '49, administrative director of the Harvard Rest Room to Salzburg, Austria. Food collections are not included in the projected local campaign.
