Durant Denies Sleepy Wigglesworth's Pleas

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

No rest for the weary residents of Wigglesworth Hall was forthcoming from the University last night, as Business Manager Aldrich Durant '02 told petitioners that cessation of pre-dawn noises at the rising Lamont Library would be impossible because of construction schedules. He promised, however, to "cut out unnecessary conversation."

"I would like to suggest," Durant said, "that early rising is not a great hardship, that the Freshman Dining Hall is open at 7:15; that there is no waiting line at that time and that good scholastic work can be done before nine in the morning."
