With an unceasing scoring barrage which netted a total of 28 tallies, Freshmen and Junior Varsity puck teams both pounded weaker opponents in Arena scrimmages yesterday which saw five hat tricks performed in the course of the afternoon.

Jayvee skaters had little trouble with Andover in the opener, trouncing the schoolboys 9 to 1. Fred Richardson and Blair Fuller each whistled in three goals, while goalie Harcourt Wood performed steadily the entire game.

The Yardling squad rang up an impressive 19 to 3 count against Governor Dummer in the finale, with Doug Anderson leading the scoring melee with four tallies and Jack Carman and Hal Marshall following with three.

Friday's season's opener with Rindge Tech has been called off, '51 Coach Stan Priddy reported, thus delaying the official Freshman debut until next Wednesday against New Prep.

Yardling ice candidates still number over 25. "There are just too many good men to make final cuts yet," Priddy declared.
