Another new political organization started its young life Tuesday night when a gathering of fifty G.O.P. adherents organized the Harvard Young Republican Club, pledged to "active opposition to Communists and Socialists."
The new group, which intends to "formulate political action based on Republican principles," ratified a constitution and plotted a fund-raising campaign.
Officers elected to head the infant association include: William A. Rusher 3L, president; Jay E. Jansen '50, operations manager; Allan Deauray '49, secretary; Sturtevant Hobbs '46, treasurer.
