Harvard Researchers Develop New Technology to Map Neural Connections
Gordon W. Allport '19, professor of Psychology, will speak tonight over station WCOP at 8 o'clock on "Why Babies Behave as They Do" as part of the Lowell Institute's series on "We Human Beings." Accompanying Professor Allport will be a panel of students from four local colleges, including William F. Clark '48 and Nancy Buhrer, Radcliffe '49.
Tonight's forum is part of a group of lectures and discussions on various problems in Social Relations which Professor Allport will conduct throughout the term at 7 o'clock on Sundays and 8 o'clock on Tuesdays.
Also under the sponsorship of the Lowell Institute Cooperative Broadcasting Council, which draws its talent from the six largest metropolitan colleges, are talks on child psychology at 7 o'clock to night and tomorrow night over WMEX.
A third feature of the Council's program of adult education via radio are groups of programs on Saturday evenings over three other local stations on topics in the field of the natural and social sciences and the humanities.
