Freshman Grid Squad Meets Lighter Exeter Team Today

Not the least of the worries that will face Coach Lamar's charges today is Exonian quarterback and aerial threat Bill Blaik, son of the Army grid mentor. Former fullback Jim Lowell, also a passer, will quarterback the Crimson squad for the first time.

Other shifts in the Freshman lineup will find Dave Warden moving up from second string to start at injured Carl Bottenfield's left halfback position. Bottenfield, as little or no action in today's tilt.

Newly elected captain Nick Callahan and John Kristopick will make their initial bids as starting tackles. "We were moving right along when they were in there against Dartmouth," Coach Lamer said yesterday, explaining the change.

Two members of the Freshman "B" squad Don Foss and Reeves Sigourney, will dress with the "A" squad today as a result of the injury fostered general reshuffling of the squad.
