Eliot Grill Reopened, Finds Heavy Demand

Eating houses in the University vicinity found a new competitor last night in the Eliot Grill, opened for the first time since ante-bellum days, and the staff or four which manned the new eating emporium was still wondering way a veteran-riddled college was drinking as much milk today as it did cokes in the pre-war period.

Over 175 hungry patrons jammed the little cafeteria in Eliot's basement in the rush hours from 9 to the 11 o'clock closing time, taking a time-out to eat. Hot dogs were their biggest order from a menu which included about ten different sandwiches, candy, cigarettes, and assorted beverages.
