Crimson Chess Team Finishes Eleventh in New York Tourney

After tying Yale for that first place in an Ivy League round-robin, during the first week of the vacation, the Chess team placed only eleventh among the thirteen colleges participating in the Intercollegiate Chess Tournament in New York.

Since the team won last year's Ivy League competition, it retains possession of the Belden Stephens Trophy pending a play-off with Yale scheduled for late in March.
