Prescott H. Vose, newly-appointed Purchasing Agent of the University, took over his new duties this week, succeeding William G. Morse '99, who retired last year after 23 years' service.
Vose, an alumnus of the Business School, had been State Director of the Office of Price Administration in his home state of Maine since 1942. Born in Bangor in 1908, he graduated from Bowdoin College in 1929.
Since receiving his degree from the Business School in 1931, Vose has been associated with John A. Roebling's Sons Company and the Wickwire Spencer Steel Company.
