Debate Council Elects Six Officers Thursday

Six new officers were elected to the annual slate of the University Debate Council at a meeting held Thursday evening in the Winthrop House Senior Common Room. Frederic L. Chapin '50, new public relations manager of the group announced yesterday.

In addition to Chapin, the following debaters were chosen: Robert M. Beren '47, president; Detlev F. Vagts '49, vice-president: J. Philip Bahn '49, home secretary: Roy G. Clouse '50, corresponding secretary; and Mortimer S. Steinberg '48, treasurer.
