Freshmen and other newcomers to the University will this afternoon at 2 o'clock in Sanders Theatre get their first chance to see and hear Dick Harlow, the Crimson's nationally famous football coach, who has guided the University eleven for the last eight years.
Also on hand for the Physical Training Department's first meeting will be crew coach Tom Bolles, swimming coach Hal Ulen, and Jaakko Mikkola, longtime mentor of the track and cross country teams.
Coaches at the meeting will explain requirements for physical training for Freshmen and Sophomores and opportunities in sports for upperclassmen. Arrangements for the schedule of physical examinations will also be announced.
Harlow, who has been active in the last two weeks getting the Varsity squad into shape for the season which starts Saturday, will describe the organization and prospects for Freshman football and House football competition. Attendance at the meeting is required for all new men and returning veterans who have not been registered since discharge.
