Finding the Massachusetts summer monsoons a more severe obstacle than their court competitors, three teams have advanced to the quarter finals in the University doubles tennis tournament, which follows close on the heels of the singles tourney that ended Monday.

Warren and Wightman won over Bronston and Morrison, 6-0, 6-1; Drake and Flickenger defeated Melvin and Doloff, 6-3, 7-5 and Burton and Sadove best Cook and McLaughlin, 6-1, 6-0.
