Amassing a Winter total of 290 points, Leverett House far outdistanced Dunster and Kirkland, its closest rivals, to take a commanding lead in the standings of the Intramural Athletics League.
After Dunster and Kirkland, who gained 260 and 2421/2 tallies, came Winthrop, with 2021/2. Lowell with 190, and Adams with 170. Dudley brought up the rear with 110.
The bunnies brought home firsts in Squash, and Volley Ball, with records of 35 and 15, and 8 and 1, second in basketball with a 5 and 2 record, and seventh in swimming on a 1 and 5 showing.
On the intramural front yesterday afternoon, however, the Bunnies lost to Kirkland's Deacons, 4 to 3 in the only hardball game. The game scheduled between Eliot and Dudley was forfeited by the Sailors, giving the Commuters the usual 9 to 0 victory.
Yesterday's softball games saw another forfeit, as Leverett bowed to Winthrop. In the only game played, Lowell nosed out Kirkland after a bitter battle, with a 4 to 3 margin.
