Downing Wesleyan University, 21 to 15, Saturday, Coach Jay Thomas' Varsity wrestling team completed its first postwar season with three wins and four losses. After the match, Don Louria '49, high point man for this season, was elected captain of next year's team.

The Crimson matmen won five of the eight weights in their final match. Pat Knox, Buddy King, and Dan Ray of Harvard won the 128-pound, 136-pound, and 155-pound events by pins, King downing his opponent in 50 seconds. Trinkle won the 145-pound and Louria the 165-pound classes by decisions, 14 to 7 and 9 to 1.
