Denied Winter Campus Housing, International Students Scramble to Find Alternative Options
Reviving its pre-war assistance to graduating students who seek jobs, the Office of Student Placement will mail a letter, pamphiot, and questionnaire this week to all men of senior standing, according to Director John W. Teele '27.
The letter, intended to inform these students of the activities of the office and to determine the number who will be interested in aid, represents the first action for the benefit of undergraduates since the office reopened last fall.
Graduate veterans seeking peacetime employment have occupied their efforts to date. Teele, however, who will present a report to Provost Buck this spring, hopes to expand the present mailing list, and eventually to contact all interested students before they reach senior standing.
