Plans for sending two delegates from the University, funds permitting, to Paris for the World Youth Conference next August, were last night reported maturing by Stephen Wechsler '49, resident representative of American Youth for Democracy. He claimed that the original estimates of $2000 per representative had been reduced to $750.
John C. L. Hulley '44, president of the Harvard Liberal Union, declared at the executive board meeting last Monday evening that his organization is prepared to support the observance of World Youth Week, March, 21 to 28. He proposed a fund drive to make possible the Paris representation in conjunction with the commemoration.
