The decision to back the rally was made at a meeting held last week, when the HLU appointed several of their members to act on the sponsoring committee. The group is composed of students from various colleges in the Boston area. Proceeds from the show will be used for publicity purposes and to send representatives to Washington to support antilynching movements.

Will Back Rent Control

HLU member at the same meeting also made plans to "support continued federal rent controls in cooperation with the Harvard Teachers Union and the Cambridge PAC," Bozman said.

Along with the Radcliffe League for Democracy, the HLU will hear a speaker from the Civil Liberties Union of Massachusetts Thursday afternoon, Bozman announced. After the speech, there will be a "discussion of activities to be taken locally for the protection of civil liberties."
