Yardling Track Team Faces Andover Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Coach Ed Flanagan will see how his Freshmen track team looks in actual competition for the first time this afternoon in a practice meet with Andover on the prepster's home field.

The team will be running no mean squad. Andover boats a team buildt up on a couple of years of experience as well as a potential record breaker for the 1000 yard run in Henry Stoltman, who will be running against the clock as well as Harvard in an attempt to slince the course record. Jerry Leeming, captain of the Freshman cross country team in the fall, will be the Crimson contender most likely to show his lteels in this event.

Flanagan, who coached track at Andover last year, will be matching his own men against a known team and will gain even closer insight on his squad's season prospects. The pole vault is his main worry right new with only one man in the event.
