Yardling Soccer Team Wins Eighth Straight

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mark up another win, the eighth straight, for the undefeated Freshman soccer team. Scoring twice in the last half, the Yardlings beat the Brown '50's by the score of 2 to 0 last Saturday on the Business School Field.

In the first half the play was about even between the two teams, the turning point coming early in the third period when Johnny Spivak booted in the first goal for the Crimson. Shortly thereafter the Bruins failed to cash in on a penalty kick, and lost the game irreparably when Bill Gilbert banged in the second goal for the Yardlings.
