AVC to Hear McHale Outline Vets' Program At First Fall Meeting

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Opening its activities for the Fall Term, the Harvard chapter of the American Veterans Committee will hold a general membership meeting tonight in the New Lecture Hall at 7:30 o'clock, with Edward J. McHale, National AVC Field Secretary, as guest speaker.

Currently engaged in a campaign to increase its strength from 500 to 1000 in cooperation with the national organization's "Ring the Bell" expansion effort, the College's only veterans group invited all non-members at Harvard to attend the gathering. "This will be a good opportunity to see AVC in action, to see what we stand for," remarked Richard G. Axt '46, chairman of the unit.

McHale is slated to speak on "AVC Policy--Past, Present, and Future."
