Veterans Workshop Sponsors Contest for New One-Act Play

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In a drive to select a one act play to be produced by the veterans' theatre workshop the weekend before Christmas vacation, Jerome A. Kilty '49, director of the group, has announced a contest open to original manuscripts by members of the University.

Designed as the first of a yearly series, the present competition is meant primarily for plays already written or well under way, Kilty explained, saying that he hoped most of the entries would be in by next week.

Judges will be two members of the workshop and a faculty member, none of whom have yet been decided upon. The winning play will share the Christmas bill with some short classic.
