Seven men of the College's ROTC will journey to West Point this weekend to learn about life in the regular Army, Colonel Mark McClure, USA, commanding officer of the unit, announced yesterday.
First group to make the trip since before the war, the visitors will live with the West Pointers in their barracks, eat their food, and participate in as many of the cadets' weekend activities as is possible.
McClure, who is a West Pointer himself and is going with the men, said that they would attend the clash with Columbia Saturday afternoon and the dance that evening. The group will also be on hand for the weekend formations in the morning.
