Eight teams will take to the courts this afternoon for their first practice sessions as they prepare for the opening games in the spring intramural basketball competition.

Rough going is predicted for Standish Hall, winner of last term's tournament, as the titleholders go against strong teams from Adams, Lowell, Companies A, B, and C, and two ROTC units.

A complete schedule of the games to be played in the tournament will be rested sometime this afternoon on the bulletin board of the Indoor Athletic Building, where the games will be played.
