Company D Wins Laurels in Softball

Playoff Game Is Scheduled Against Dunster Next Week

As the spring intramural program draws to an end, Company D appears to have clinched the Navy league softball championship. With a record of six wins and no losses, it is far ahead of its nearest competitions, Company A and the NROTC, each with two wins and one loss, and Company C, with three wins and two defeats.

Company H has won two while losing three, and Company I has one victory and four defeats. Company B, with five defeats and no wins, brings up the bottom of the list. A playoff game for the College softball championship will be held between Company D and Dunster House, the civilian champs, some time next week.

No games were played in the intramural program yesterday because of the Brigade Review. On Wednesday the NROTC won a baseball game from Company H, by forfeit. The baseball game between Adams and Dunster was postponed. No softball games are scheduled for this afternoon, but baseball games are slated between Dunster and Company H, and between Companies A and D. On Monday, company D plays Company B in baseball.
