STAT SCHOOL GRADUATES 68

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Having completed an intensive eight-week course designed to prepare them to give vital information on equipment, personnel, and air-strength to officers planning attacks, 68 Army Air Force Statistical Officers will graduate from the Business School tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. Speakers for the Baker Library ceremonies were as yet unknown last night, although Washington headquarters has promised some.

The newly commissioned second lieutenants will be assigned to statistical control offices in various air forces here and abroad when they leave Harvard. The "Singing Statisticians" take the guess-work out of bombing attack plans by supplying accurate detailed reports.

A new group of about the same size will enter the "Stat" school on Sunday. As well as officer candidates, it includes officers, from majors down, who have been on duty with the air force and are coming back for three-week refresher courses.
