Entrants from Harvard are definitely slated to compete in four official regattas this spring, according to the Spring Dinghy Racing schedule announced by the Intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association last week.

The season begins on Sunday, April 9 in the Charles River Basin with a regatta in which five other local colleges are entered. The prize is the Rudolf O. Oberg trophy. On Sunday, April 23, Harvard will go to New London to compete for the George Owen Trophy in the Eastern Dinghy Championship races. On Saturday and Sunday, May 6 and 7, again on the Thames, Crimson entries will race in the New England Dinghy Championship runs.

Twenty colleges in addition to the local yachtsmen will compete in the National Dinghy Championship, the most important race of the season, to be held in the Charles River Basin on Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21.
