Getting into the second week of competition yesterday, the results of the intramural basketball contests began to take on more significance. With 16 of the 39 games already played, the competition will last through April 7. The leading teams now have definite positions, Lowell and Company A being on top with three wins, Company B being in the doghouse with three losses.

Yesterdays games did little in changing the relative status of the teams. Lowell retained its lead by defeating Dunster 30 to 27, thereby securing its lead all the more securely. Company A likewise trimmed the underdog Company B team to the tune of 56 to 13. The ROTC tied with Company C at one win and one loss, mastered the situation easily by a score of 42 to 36. The league will continue tomorrow with three games starting at 2 o'clock.
