SPRING CALENDAR REVISED BY COLLEGE

Mid-Term Grades Will Be Out April 17

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Following its revision last week, the final calendar for the spring term was announced yesterday by Dean Hanford with the only major change being the moving up of the reading period one week. The date for the beginning of the summer term has not yet been decided.

The reading period for this term will be two weeks, extending from Monday, May 29, through Saturday, June 10, with final examinations being given from June 12 through June 24.

Cumulative Tests in May

If a student leaves for the armed services before the end of this term and expects to receive cumulative credit, he must take a test between May 4 and May 13. Cumulative marks are to be filed by the instructors before May 16 except in those courses primarily for graduates. This cumulative mark will cover a period of ten weeks.

The first mid-term report of grades in Freshman courses will be in by April 17, following the April hour exams.

In accordance with the College's policy of no more one-day holidays, the two traditional holidays, Patriot's Day, April 19, and Memorial Day, May 30, will not be observed this year. Commencement exercises, the first held since last May, are scheduled for Thursday, June 29.
