A special committee to consider what credit toward the degree will be given for work of academic level done while a student is in the armed forces will be set up soon, announced Dean Hanford, who is to head the committee, before a meeting of the V-12 last Saturday.
The committee will consider each student's record individually and weigh the credit to be given for courses taken in Midshipmen's School, courses of academic level which are taken in such special service schools as Fire Control, and special correspondence courses taken from the Armed Forces Institute.
