V-12 PRESENTS SWIM EVENTS

Burning Oil and Abandon Ship Drill to Be Featured

Tomorrow night at 7:30 the Harvard V-12 Unit will present a fifty-minute program of war-time swimming in the Indoor Athletic Building. The exhibition will include such stunts as swimming with rifles, swimming in burning oil, and abandon ship drill.

The program is not without its competitive spirit either, for during the evening, there will be several races including a relay between Navy students from Eliot and Kirkland Houses.

After the exhibition there will be mixed swimming, so it might be a good idea to bring a date along to practice a few of the things you will see demonstrated during the show. Mixed swimming is expected to begin at about 8:30.
