Have you ever felt, after a long summer drought, the sweet, cool, delicious droplets of the first rain? It's happened Wednesday as 457 little droplets of femininity landed in Wellesley College to start their freshman year. After that comes the heavy downpour, like nectar on the sweated brow. That happens today as Wellesley's upperclass nectarines register for the fall term.
But not all the drops will fall on soft, welcoming grass, for space is limited at Wellesley this year, for the Naval Supply School has put a waterproof cover over Cazenove and Pomeroy dorms and no little droplets can get in. So it will be close quarters for the little adorables this year and no single rooms, poor things, but a droplet is a droplet, boys, so lift your fingers high and catch a few.
