V-12 Unit and Civilians Will Take Step Test This Week

Two thousand V-12 students and civilian undergraduates are being given the step test this week in order to compare results with the Navy Efficiency Test for the V-12 Unit and to determine if there has been any improvement over the marks on the previous test for the civilians. Norman W. Fradd, assistant director of Physical Education, announced yesterday.

The test is being administered during the regular conditioning and athletic classes at Soldiers Field. Weld Boat House, and the Indoor Athletic Building.

The Navy and College are cooperating so that the marks of the V-12 men on their prescribed muscular test may be compared with the results of Harvard's functional or heart test.
