Our last smoker received high praise by those who know as one of the best in the annals of the School. Hardened theatregoers expressed preference for it over any of the current Boston productions. The flashing wits of the second and seventh platoons furnished a lot of laughs. Not awed by titles, they pulled down the mighty from the high places.

Ray Mildenberger easily breezed through the company squash tournament, winning in the finals from Chief Specialist Scott. The team of Deloto and Dillard won the handball title from Thacker and Schwerin in a hard-fought match.

Our basketball team (composed entirely of Section A men) got off to a good start by taking the "Chiefs and Allstars" team 54 to 44. Bell and Izmerian were outstanding. Coach Warren Brunner issues a challange to any and all teams in New England.
