Yale Daily News Suspends Publication for the Duration

The Yale Daily News, "America's oldest collegiate daily," announced on Saturday its intention of suspending publication on May 8 for the duration. The News, which appeared to be going strong in the midst of difficulties, with six issues a week, is following a general trend started by college papers last winter when the Brown Herald was forced to close down.

Many other collegiate dailies followed suit. The Princetonian has ceased publication of its regular paper and has been putting out a university bulletin to keep students abreast of Princeton news:
