Playing short three men, the Adams House softball team plowed through to a 25 to 19 victory over the Bellboys Friday. Hindered by harsh weather conditions. Gold Coast twirler Al Hartwig, and Lowell's pitcher Sheldon Sachs were not able to keep the scoring low. The Runnies pushed Dudley aside for a 6 to 4 win.

The House basketball champions from Leverett who had entered in the Boston Open Basketball Tournament were beaten in their semifinals match 26 to 38 by a Charlestown Navy Yard team. The Bunny team headed by Norm Cameron gave the Charlestown, Navy Yard five a tough battle until a decision by the referee threw the balance over to the Navy team, which then proceeded to run up ten points in the last ten minutes.
