Captain Ross F. Jones recently returned from Miami Beach, where he assisted in the selection of Class 8-43, a "midget" class, for it will be composed of less than 100 members. The Officer Candidates will take over Mellon Hall today, April 16. In order to justify their temporary reduction in size, we shall expect 100 per cent in graduation. The entire military and civilian staff of the Statistical School joins in saying "Welcome" to the Officer Candidates, and trust that their stay will prove a happy and beneficial one.
