Enrollment in the College has dropped to 2150 from 3400 undergraduates in September, Reginald H. Phelps, Assistant Dean of the College, announced yesterday. This is a loss of 350 students since the beginning of the term at which time University Hall predicted an exodus of 500 by March 15.
Phelps went on to say that it is extremely difficult to secure accurate figures due to the fact that leaves of absence are constantly being granted.
No statistics have been compiled as to the size of classes as yet since this requires a careful checking of credits of all those involved.
