Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The current session of the Chaplain School, begun last week, has seen the addition of five new instructors to the staff.
The first is Chaplain (Capt.) Raymond B. Blakney of Williamstown, Mass., who possesses one of the most varied backgrounds of any instructor at the School. A hospital and transport chaplain for twelve months during the First World War, he was subsequently for eight years professor of mathematical physics at Fukien Christian University, Foochow, China, where he taught integral and differential calculus in Chinese. Upon his return to this country, lie spent six years as minister of the Sanford (Me.) parish of the Congregational Church and nine years as minister at the Williams College Church at Williamstown.
Also appointed to the staff of the Chaplain School for six months of temporary duty are four recent graduates of the Infantry Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, Georgia. 2nd Lt. John P. Arno is an alumnus of the University of Arkansas and a Master of Science in Business Administration of New York University. 2d Lt. Karl M. Hayhew majored in psychology at St. Lawrence University and 2nd Lt. Joseph F. Birlin, Jr. majored in philosophy at St. John's Seminary. 2nd Lt. Frederick E. Robin is in civilian life a professional social worker, with a B.A. and M.A. in sociology from Columbia University.
