Closing its season strong, winning their twelfth out of their last 14 games, the Jayvee bhaketball squad defeated Yale, 43 to 41, Saturday night, in the Indoor Athletic Building. Coach Floyd Stahl's masterminding was the prime factor in the squad's comeback, after it had dropped its first three tills.
Ray Eder was high scorer for the Crimson, dropping 14 points through the hoop, while Don Geeson followed closely with ten and Mike DeLee played his usual good game of tricky ball handling and sparking the team. The Jayvees went out to an early lead and held a safe margin all night, except for a final Eli surge at the close.
