A new door-to-door drive to collect old clothes for the needy will begin the end of this week and continue until the following Tuesday, under the guidance of Tom Axon '44 of Phillips Brooks House.
Led by special chairmen chosen for each House, the drive will also have the purpose of transferring second-hand books from College owners to the hands of book-hungry service men in the Army, Navy, and Marines.
Janiters Are Agents
Men leaving College before their entry-way canvassers have visited them should inquire from House Janitors where to deposit their old clothes and books, so they can be picked up later by agents of the drive.
