COLUMBIA DEFEATS WRESTLERS 18 TO 14

Dropping an 18-14 decision, the Varsity wrestling team went down to defeat before Columbia last Saturday on the Harvard mats. The Crimson sorely missed the services of Captain Lee Sosman, powerful heavyweight, who was graduated at midyears.

This was the second loss of the season for the matmen. The team, coached by Jay Schaffran, has also garnered two victories. Pete Fuller, agile 165 pounder, starred for the Crimson in this meet.

128-pound class--Guild (H) defeated Kosma, decision.

136-pound class--Adamson (C) defeated Hart, decision.

145-pound class--Parsons (H) pinned Pellici, double wing lock, 8:00.

155-pound class--Albion (H) defeated Stein, decision.

165-pound class--Fuller (H) defeated Roach, decision.

175-pound class--Horvath (H) pinned Sax, body lock, 4:31.

Heavyweight--O'Shaughnessey (C) pinned Durwood, body lock, 0:52.
