In an attempt to inject some spirit into the members of the Naval R.O.T.C., and also to help break up the monotony of their calisthenics. Chief Petty Officer Frank Patrick, head of Navy Sci athletics, has organized four basketball teams among his men and entered them in an intra-mural league which also includes the eight House teams.

An intra-company league also, exists which consists of the four R.O.T.C. quintets, companies A. B. C. and D. So far, these teams haven't fared particularly well against House competition, mainly because they have no time to practice and are shorthanded.
