CRIMSON TEAMS BATTLE ON 6 FRONTS

Coach John Chase's hockey team takes its annual jaunt to West Point this weekend, opposing the Cadets tomorrow afternoon in a Pentagonal League tussle which should mark the third Crimson triumph in league competition.

Since the entrance of the Military Academy into the League, the team has never left the cellar, and this year is no exception. The Army sextet has suffered three successive defeats, and bids fair to bury its head, like an ostrich, in the depths of the circuit cellar once again.

Loring May Play

Fresh from a victory over Princeton, the Chasemen will probably use the same six starters at the Point. If Caleb Loring is recovered from the injury which kept him out of the Dartmouth and Princeton battles, he will be used an one wing, with Billy Harding at the other and newly-elected Captain Earle Acker at center, if Loring is still ailing. Marc Beebe will operate from his wing post.

The defensive duo of Olie Taylor and Dick Mechem is still on hand, with Tom Cowen ready to lend a helping hand. Goodie Harding will start at goal, but Steve O'Neill and Gus Summers should see action before the tussle is over.

Former Crimson Men at Point

Two ex-Crimson athletes are on the Cadet squad. Dick Whittington, who played some hockey for the Junior Varsity last winter, is now a plebe at the Point, and he is on the Army squad. George Casey who didn't play hockey at Harvard, but occupied the first base job for the Crimson Freshman team last spring, is also an Army skater.

The speedy second line, composed of Dick Harding, Johnny Burton, and Al Everts, will try to match the starting trio in scoring and the only question is how many points the team will score. Army is pretty hapless.
