FURNITURE PUZZLE TAKEN TO HOUSES

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

All students who wish to sell furniture to Freshmen entering the Houses should get in touch with their Houses Committees, it was announced last night by George M. Burditt, Jr. '44, president of the Student Council, which is currently investigating the furniture problem.

In letters addressed to the chairmen of all the Committees, Burditt revealed, it has been suggested that efforts be made within each House to utilize the potential market of the several hundred Freshmen who are moving from the Yard into the Houses this week. In addition, he pointed out that the new Freshmen entering College this month should be anxious to buy furniture at this time.

A sale of lamps to the Coop and the Navy was conducted on Saturday, he added, and similar efforts to assist students in disposing of their goods will be made whenever there is an opportunity.
