Academic work for the Nineteenth Class of the Chaplain School began last Wednesday and will continue for five weeks until graduation, December 14.
Chaplain William D. Cleary, Commandant of the school, announced that in the interest of more efficient instruction, all courses taught by chaplain instructors will be administered in such a way that each class will consist of only one section, limited to 25 students.
The majority of the chaplains in the new group have been commissioned directly from civilian life. The actual number of students has not been released, but it is known to be smaller than the class of 329 which graduated last Thursday.
