Four days at a Navy school and no gym--wasn't it wonderful?

Bot Miss Corey thinks we aren't sports--all that hesitancy about volunteering for company officers. Sissies!--and think of the fun Company B had Wednesday afternoon at drill. For a while there was a slight question as to just where they would end up-and-how!--wasn't there, Miss McKenzie?

No S and FSD for us, but we've got the overseas hats. Custom says "Square that hat." Bot they'd look cute squared!

There came a problem of school days and book bags. Not a thing in Navy Regs about the method of wearing or carrying --so we're testing our individuality. Worn the same way as the purse--bruises the right shoulder and left hip-but we can swing our arms. Slung over the shoulder--a la sea bag--seems a bit too "salty."

Bag folded over and tucked under arm--well, it's nice--but looks sort of pedestrian. Any suggestions?
