BUNNIES TAKE CHOICE SEATS FOR FOOTBALL

Leverett House residents were going around yesterday with happy smiles on their faces when the preference list for football seats was announced. For the result of the straw-drawing held in Athletic Director Bill Bingam's office yesterday morning saw the Bunny Hutch end up on top of the heap, with "Miscellaneous" (Dudley, rooming houses, and the like) running second.

Winthrop was third, and the Eliot, Adams, Lowell, Kirkland, and Dunster in that order. Following last year's policy the location of seats will be determined by the Houses.

The coupon books are on sale today, costing $12.00 and admitting the bearer to all home games in every sport, including football, with a few exceptions. The Freshmen will sit as a group, along the track in the Stadium, and up under the Colonnade.

Arrangements have been made for ticket exchanges in case a bachelor relents and decides to bring a girl. No women will be allowed in the cheering section, but allotment of seats according to class with the Seniors getting the best spots will be made outside the undergraduate area. As was the case last year, men who want to sit together must file their applications together. In case they are residents of different houses, the man whose rating is lowest governs the location of both seats. In other words, if a Leverett man and a Dunster man applied together, the two would sit in the Dunster section.

Though men from every House were invited to the straw drawing, only five showed up. Edward L. Hadley '44 of Winthrop, choosing for Leverett, picked the longest straw. William A. Rich '44 of Kirkland, S. Leonard Kent '43 of Lowell, Peter Dorsey '44 of Eliot, and Abraham H. Sadove '43 of Adams were the men who did the choosing.

At the same time, the H.A.A. announced that participation tickets for the whole year will be $12, with a $5 optional locker fee. Refunds will be made to students leaving before the year is up.
