In a speech in the New Lecture Hall last night, Andre Michalopoulos, Greek Minister of Information, told how the Greek resistance against the Italians and the Germans had helped greatly in hindering Nazi victory.
The Greeks, who fought for six months against the Italians, and for seven weeks against the Germans, found themselves in a serious position because the friendly and unprotected border of Yugoslavia became the border of German attack when the Nazi favoring government of Belgrade, turned their country over to the Germans.
