According to "The Scuttlebutt," Naval Training School newspaper, Commander C. A. Macgowan USN, (Ret.), officer in charge of the school, predicts that the full quota of 1,000 men will be training here by September.

Over 100 new student officers are scheduled to come here for the indoctrination course early in August, the paper reported. The quota which was set up under the agreement signed between the college and the Navy late last spring, will be made up of these officers who remain here for the radio communications course, added to the new men coming in for the indoctrination course when the present group leaves on August 29, and the new 100-odd who will arrive early in August.

The paper also reported that the headquarters of the unit have now been moved into President Conant's house.
