Summer activities for students, ranging from farm labor to conferences on current affairs, will be discussed at a meeting held tonight at 7:45 in Phillips Brooks House, under the sponsorship of International Student Service. Movies of previous summer work camps will be shown.
Elliott Pratt, work camp director of I. S. S., will speak on the farm labor and work camp program, while Mrs. Pratt, Acting Executive Secretary, will discuss other activities of the organization.
Among these are two five-week summer leadership institutes, at which groups of 25 students, will be trained in a two part curriculum, which covers The Student as Student, and The Student as Citizen. A number of weekend conferences on such topics as "The Role of the Universities in the War" and "The Student and the Draftee" are also being planned to be held at summer sessions of colleges throughout the country.
